HOW DOES THE SIBUS SEPRA ® WORK?

Infeed System Depending on the type and size of packaged product, we offer a range of infeed systems. Typically one of two methods are employed, either a floor mounted hopper with inclined variable speed conveyor. Alternatively, a safety secure container lift which transports the waste product container up and into a direct mounted infeed hopper. In all cases Sibus can design the most suitable customised infeed system.

Infeed System
Inside are a series of breaker bars and paddles that are designed and positioned for the particular application. These paddles rapidly open the product packs as they proceed along the separation chamber.
The combination of this centrifugal action, variable but selected shaft speed and choice of paddles and screens ensures high yield separation of product from package. Within seconds the product and packaging stream exits the Sepra® in a clean and totally separate manner.
Product Plenum
Underneath the screen area is a custom designed plenum, which receives, discharges and transports the separated product.

Package Discharge
The separated packaging pieces are cleanly discharged from an end chute for compacting or subject to our onward downstream separation of ferrous, non-ferrous metal and plastic, paper etc.

Systems Control

System Control
We offer a range of starter/control panels from manual control with all key process interlocks, to full "Touch Screen" PLC system. We can incorporate all necessary variable speed drives, client's additional up or downstream equipment or indeed link into client's main factory control system.
Maintenance & Safety
The Sibus Sepra® is equipped with large clam shell doors providing easy access for inspection,cleaning and maintenance. The doors are fitted with a Œ Certified "Trapped Key" safety and security system to prevent unauthorised entry, especially during operation.
